• Bachelor of Fine Arts & Minor in Applied Theater (focus on Theatre in Education) with High Honors
The Second City – Chicago, Training Center, Chicago, IL 2012-2014
• Completed the IFA Program, completed the Musical Improv Conservatory Program, qualified for the Professional Improv Conservatory Program
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Amanda Bloom Arts | Private Voice Instructor | Norwalk, CT 2017-Present
• Provide individual voice instruction, including technical instruction, performance/nuance education, and assistance with song selection
• Transitioned to virtual teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic
Enchanted Garden Arts | Teacher – Multiple disciplines | Ridgefield, CT 2016-2020
• Taught original choreography to group of up to 10 kids, ranging in style from Broadway Dance, Jazz, Tap, and Ballet
• Provided individual piano and voice instruction
• Taught an “introduction to the arts” class for kids aged 3-years-old
• Reformed the previously-closed Theater program, which included teaching theater classes, adapting plays for small-group productions, designed and created set pieces, and directed children’s productions
Art of Dance | Jazz Dance Teacher | Ridgefield, CT 2015-2018
• Taught group Jazz dance classes for Intermediate and Advanced skill groups
• Served as a substitute teacher in the program’s Ballet track

• Taught theater classes focused on Scene Study to groups ranging in age from Elementary through Middle School
Camp Playland of Redding | Director | Redding, CT 2015-2019
• Served as co-Director of the 8-week Summer Day Camp, which included all logistical and personnel management responsibilities
• Founded and ran the Theater Elective Track, which incorporated 8 hours per week of Theater- and performance-based experience and training. This included Theater and voice training, basic education in sound recording and editing, costume and set design, and dance
Metropolis School of Performing Arts | Teacher | Arlington Heights, IL 2014-2015
• Wrote and directed a production of The Giving Tree for Little Lights Up! summer camp. Students 4-5
• Wrote and directed The Very Hungry Caterpillar for Little Lights Up! spring break. Students 3-5
• Create and implement lessons to teach theatre, music, and dance fundamentals
• Create and implement craft projects often getting students involved building sets, props, and costumes
